Year 6: Geography - Data Collection Methods
In geography this week year 6 have been learning about different data collection methods. We decided which would be the most efficient for our current enquiry question.
Reception Class - Counting the Buttons on the Gingerbread Man
Reception class have been using the smart board to support their learning in class. The children had to subitise or count the buttons in the gingerbread man and find the correct numeral.
Year 1 - Computing - Following An Alogrithm
Year 1 are working on the unit Lego Builders. They are learning how precise instructions are essential for programming a computer. This week they followed a set of instructions to produce a coloured bird.
Year 3 English - Identifying Features of A Story
In English Year 3 are enjoying reading the book, The Stone Age Boy. Using chromebooks they read the story in groups and worked together to identify the different features.

Year 3 Computers - Learning How To Touch Type
Year 3 have been learning how to touch type in their computer lessons. They looked at how they should be sitting and then followed a coloured guide showing them which fingers they had to use on which key. Today they looked at using the home keys.
Year 5 Computing - Designing our 3D Games!
In Computing this half term, Year 5 will be designing and creating our own 3D computer games! We all enjoyed setting the scene yesterday, evaluating some games on Purple Mash, deciding on our themes and beginning to plan our settings. We have lots of very imaginative ideas!
