At our Breakfast Club this term, we have been focusing on promoting independence.
The children have been encouraged to make their own cereal, butter their own toast, and pour their own drinks. Our staff have been on hand to guide and support them as they develop these life skills.
It has been wonderful to watch the children settle into this routine. They have grown so much in confidence when accessing the breakfast table, and we have seen fantastic improvements in their fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills.

School Clubs
At our academy, we believe that learning does not stop when the bell rings at 3:15 pm. We are proud to offer a wide range of after-school and lunchtime clubs every single term—from creative craft and computing to active sports sessions.
We are passionate about making sure all of our pupils can join in, discover new talents, and enjoy these opportunities. Joining a club is a brilliant way for children to meet new friends, learn a skill, and build confidence that lasts a lifetime.
Living Our Values Through Clubs
Our clubs are a key part of how we put our school values into action every day:
-
Love & Friendship: Clubs give children from different year groups the chance to spend time together, encourage one another, and build strong, lasting friendships outside the classroom.
-
Courage: Trying something completely new—whether it is writing a computer program, picking up a paintbrush, or learning a new sport—takes real bravery. We celebrate every child who steps out of their comfort zone.
-
Hope: We want all of our pupils to look forward with ambition. Learning new skills helps children see what they are truly capable of achieving now and in the future.
-
Perseverance: Mastering a new craft, sport, or digital skill takes patience. Our clubs give children a fun, safe space to keep trying, practise hard, and feel proud of their progress.
How to Book Your Child’s Place
We send out a fresh list of available clubs at the start of every term.
All club places can be booked quickly and easily using the Arbor app or portal. If you need any help logging into Arbor or booking a place, please pop into the school office and our team will be happy to assist you.
Have Your Say: Club Ideas
We want our club offer to reflect what our children love most! If your child has an idea for a club they would like to see, or if you have feedback on our current activities, please let us know. You can speak to the school office or send us a message via Arbor.
