Our Year 2 mathematicians have been busy exploring exchanging ones in addition and subtraction.

Using practical resources and manipulatives, the children worked hard to represent numbers, explore place value and develop their understanding of how numbers can be exchanged.

A hands-on approach to help bring their learning to life, build confidence and deepen their mathematical understanding. Lots of fantastic thinking and problem-solving!
