Our Curriculum Vision

At Darwen St James C of E Primary School, we provide a rich, varied, and purposeful curriculum rooted in our Christian faith, our core values of Hope, Courage, Love, Perseverance, and Friendship, and our overarching mission: "Nurturing Ambition Through a Living Faith."

We deliver an ambitious, aspirational curriculum designed to inspire every child, meet their individual needs, and empower them to succeed.

• Sequential & Connected Learning: We plan lessons sequentially so children build systematically on previous knowledge. By regularly revisiting prior learning, pupils deepen their understanding and apply their skills in creative, meaningful ways.
